Description

Gift with warranty from Roger Hawys of Thaneworth' to Simon de Manecestre and Mary his wife of the homage and service of Richard de la Coppe and an annual rent of 5 pence which he paid for a free tenement which he held of the grantor in Fenschawe in Thoneworth'; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee for the service of one clove of gilly flower; and for this the said Simon gives 5 shillings. Witnesses: Henry de Sydenhale, Henry de Manecestre, Richard de Folewode, Nicholas de Swannesdich', Roger Geryn, Richard de Selleye and others. Tag, seal lost. Endorsed: i) 2.
