Description

Gift with warranty from William de Bello Campo earl of Warwick to Robert de la Bruer' of Thoneworth' and Isolda his wife, for homage and service, of 11 acres and 3 roods of land from the waste of Thoneworth', of which 10 acres and 3 roods extend in length from the enclosed wood (clauso bosco) of Sir Nicholas de Oddingesel' as far as the heath called Longeleyheth' and lie in width between the land of the said Sir Nicholas and the land which Robert de la Berne of Norton' held; and one acre extends in length from the grantor's park as far as the land of Walter Austyn and lies in width between the land of the said Walter and the road leading towards Burmigham; to hold the same to the said Robert and Isolda, their heirs and assigns, except a religious house, rendering annually 3s 11d (2 terms) for all services save suit of court at Thoneworth' at Christmas and Whitsun and the payment of scutage at the rate of 1 penny per acre when it falls due.
