Description

Feoffment from Thomas Porter of Aluechurche, Thomas Phillipp' of the same the elder and Henry More of the same to Thomas Bownell' of the same of all lands, tenements, rents, reversions and services with meadows, woods, waters and moors within the lordship of Tonworthe in the county of Warr' called Cleburylonde, which property the grantors lately held jointly with Henry Lynehall' and John Baker deceased by gift and feoffment of John Alcok' Bishop of Ely [1430-1500, 1476 Bishop of Worcester, 1485 Bishop of Ely] Edward Grey Viscount Lisle [d. 17 July 1492] and John Joice, to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary 16 Henry VII. Witnesses: Thomas Asshewell' of Tonworthe, John Wheeler of the same, Henry Chambour of the same and many others.
