Description

Grant of dower from Thomas Wescote of Tanworthe county Warr' wheelwright to Isabella Wescote his wife of the annual rent of 26s. 8d. from one messuage called Collens place in the lordship of Tanworthe county Warr'; with all houses, buildings, gardens, orchards and ponds belonging to the same, and 6 crofts or pastures and one grove with lez Fordgrove called Collens land' in Tanworth', lying in length between the highway leading from the church of Tanworth' as far as Hokley heyth and the rivulet or stream called Charkytpolebrok, and in breadth between the pasture of William Wyllungtons esquire called Westons and a pasture belonging to the heirs of Clarksons called Swansdyche; to hold for her life, receiving the said rent at the two customary terms, with the right of distraint if the said rent was unpaid or in arrears, and the right of re-entry after 6 weeks, the said Thomas to pay the additional sum of 10s. 8d. as a fine for non-payment.
