Abstract of Indentures of Lease and Release between Charles Henry Hunt of one part and Edward Horseman of Campden, Gloucestershire esquire - Edmund Battesbee of Old Stratford esquire of the other part whereby Charles Henry Hunt in consideration of £10,000 to him paid by Edward Horseman and Edmund Battesbee in equal shares granted all his hereditaments in Wootton Wawen, Loxley, Wellesbourne, Bishopton, Old Stratford, Wolverton, Tanworth and the Borough of Stratford-upon-Avon (Chapel Street) to the said Edward Horseman and Edmund Battesbee subject to a proviso for redemption upon payment of £10,000.
