Description

Conditions of Sale of the Manor of Wolverton and Blakon Farm consisting of a messuage, farm buildings and about 166 acres, 1 rood and 8 perches of arable meadow - pasture 78a-3r-22p whereof were old inclosed and 87a-1r-26p were lying in the open and Common Fields of Wolverton, all which were then belonging to Charles Mills and in the occupation of Charles Carter. Agreement by Samuel Allen of Bordesley gent to purchase the same for £5000 with Kelynge Greenway agent for Charles Mills. Signed Samuel Allen and Kelynge Greenway. Witnessed by G. C. Greenway. Note attached that the timber on Blakon Farm consisting of 751 oak, elm, ash and fir were valued by R. Sanders and Joseph Payton at £245.
