Bond from Richard Dale of Tanworth yeoman to Simon Archer of the same gentleman in the penal sum of £40 to perform covenants in indentures of bargain and sale of even date. Dated 20 September 42 Elizabeth. Witnesses: Andrew Archer, Thomas Warner scribe, Richard Brockhurst, Thomas Archer, John Pearkes, Henry Chambers. Circular seal of red wax on tongue, 1/2 in., a mullet of 8 points. Latin and English, parchment, 12 x 8 ins.
