Bond from Andrew Archer esquire and Simon Archer his son and heir to Thomas Whitley, citizen and grocer of London, in the penal sum of £300 to secure repayment of the sum of £150 by 2 November next. Signed : Andrew Archer, Simon Archer. Dated 6 April 21 James I. Witnesses: Towneshend Hereford, Richard Archer, Francis Blizard, William Whitley, William Atwoode scribe. 1, Circular seal of red wax through paper, 1/2 in., a dragon's head issuing out of a mural coronet. 2, Circular seal of red wax through paper, 1/2 in., on a shield 3 arrows pointing downwards. Endorsed: [contemp] Mr Archer for 150. 23 Avery 1623. Mr Archers bond cancelled. English, paper, 16 x 12 ins., folded once.
