Description

Surrender by John Lucas the elder of Harborne tailor, administrator of the goods of Thomas Lucas of Stratford upon Avon gentleman deceased, Edward Collett of Tanworth yeoman, surviving executor named in the will of the said Thomas Lucas, and John Lucas the younger of Tanworth gentleman to Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth knight for £55 of a mortgage of 1 July 6 James I [1608] from Thomas Archer late of Tanworth gentleman now deceased, to the said Thomas Lucas of Gray's Inn gentleman of the moiety of a messuage in Tanworth in the tenure of Alice Hunt widow and the moiety of 3 closes in Tanworth called Heynfield then in the tenure of the said Alice; with quitclaim from the said Edward Collett to the said Sir Simon of the said property.
