Feoffment from John Carleton of Sedgley, Staffordshire, gentleman and Thomas Carleton of Beley, Worcestershire, gentleman, his brother to Francis Hall of Tanworth yeoman and John Biddle of Tanworth gentleman for £148 of a cottage in Monkespath street in Tanworth, now or late in the tenure of john harwood and lands called Greate Broomfielde, Little Broomfielde and 6 acres of adjoining meadow ground, with a rough close called Birchiefield, all the said property lying in Tanworth in the tenure of the said Francis Hall and all, excepting Birchiefield, lying between lands of John Gower to the east, Monkespath street to the west, lands of Sir Simon Archer knight on the north and the lane leading from Shelley farm to Munkespath brook on the south and the Birchiefield lying between a little coppice of the said Sir Simon on the one side and Munkespath street and a lane leading from there to Fowre Ashes on all sides; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee rendering annually 1s.10d.; appointment of John Ridale as attorney to deliver seisin.
