Andrew Palmer of Knowle co. Warr' gent and Richard Brockington of Tanworth co Warr' yeoman, 4th party. The said parties agree to levy a fine before St Andrew's next of the manor of Monkespath in Tanworth and chief rents amounting to 84s. from Lands etc in Tanworth i.e. 4d from a croft belonging to a tenement in Tanworth in the tenure of William Collins, 6d from a tenement and lands in Tanworth in the tenure of Edward Allen, 10s.8d from lands in Tanworth called Barfache Landes in the tenure of Francis Maxfield, 2s. from the lands of Richard Payne called Lillyes landes in Tanworth, 5d from lands of John Brockhurst in Tanworth, 13d. from Fulwoodes lands near Hockley Heath in Tanworth lately in the tenure of William Sale, 7d from a tenement and lands now the inheritance of Robert Johnes in Tanworth, 3d from a tenement in Tanworth late Bartholomew Ashbies, 3d from a tenement in Tanworth in the tenure of George Bache, 18d from the lands of Henry Whately in Tanworth, 18d from the lands of Henry Symons in Tanworth, 12d from a croft called Farthinges in Tanworth in the occupation of John Short, 7d from the lands of Francis Anderton in Tanworth, 6s.8d from the lands of Edward ? Brotone called Little Wistons, 6s 8d. from lands in Tanworth now or late William Rawsons called Little Wistons, also a messuage in Tanworth in the tenure of Richard Harris also 9 closes in Tanworth called Vales, the said messuage being part of the same, in the tenure of the said Thomas Warner, a messuage in the tenure of Henry Lea + 4 closes called Blackcrofte,Holloway, Over Moules and Nether Moules in Tanworth in the tenure of Henry Lea, a messuage called ye Peaches in Nuthurst and Knowle in the tenure of the said Henry Lea, + closes and coppices belonging to the same called Broadfields in Nuthurst and Knowle in the tenure of the said Henry Lea, 3 closes called Well closes in Nuthurst, Knowle and Beaudesert in the tenure of the said Henry Lea, meadow land in Knowle and Nuthurst, near the house in the tenure of Baldwin Short, in the tenure of the said Henry Lea, a croft called Beggars croft + the cottage erected on the same being in Tanworth in the tenure of the said George Child. The fine to be made to the said James Prescote and George Palmer for a writ of diseisin to be brought against them by the said Andrew Palmer and Richard Brockington for a recovery to be suffered with the said Sir Edward Mountfort and Simon Mountfort as vouchees to warranty. The said fine and recovery of the said lands to be held to uses recited, i.e. the manor of Monkespath + chief rents and certain lands [ defined down to Vales] to the use of the said Thomas Warner, and the rest to the said Richard Grimshaw.
