Description

Covenant between Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth knight on the one part and Thomas Rous of Rouslench, Worcestershire esquire, James Enyon of Itchington Priors esquire and Richard Archer of Nethopp in Banbury, Oxfordshire esquire to lead the uses of a fine between the said Thomas, James and Richard, plaintiffs, and the said Sir Simon, deforciant, before Trinity term next, of the manor house called Fullwood Hall alias Clea Hall in Tanworth in the tenure of William Heckstall; a messuage in part of Clea Hall grounds in the tenure of Edward Hickox with lands called Cleobury grounds, Lea Hill and Cicely fields in Tanworth, Nuthurst and Hampton in the tenure of the said Sir Simon, William Heckstall and Edward Hickox, being bounded by certain lanes or highways there, a close now divided into two parts in the tenure of Thomas Court called Foxcrofte and the parsonage house of Nuthurst on all sides; a messuage called Lea tenement in Tanworth with lands called Lea grounds, Mouldecroft and Monkecroft in the tenure of John Knight; a newly built messuage called Michers land tenement in Tanworth with lands called Michers land and Lea grounds in the tenure of Henry Smith alias Court; a messuage called Mr Waters tenement in Tanworth with lands in the tenure of Roger Morris; the capital messuage or site called Packwood Hall in Packwood with land belonging to the same in the tenure of Thomas Poulter gentleman; messuages in Packwood in the tenure of George Barton and Thomas Wheeler and lands belonging to the said capital messuage called Packwood grounds in Packwood in the tenure of Sir Simon Archer, Thomas Poulter, George Barton, Thomas Wheeler, and Henry Elleotts; a messuage called Waters tenement in Tanworth with lands called Waters, Listerleys, the Heathes, Buddcroftes and Rough Pratts in the tenure of Edward Allen; 2 messuages called Upper Botley House and Nether Botley House with a cottage in Ullenhall and lands called Botley corn ground, Pitt fields and Phillips close in Ullenhall in the tenure of William Lea and William Poole; a messuage called Hall end tenement with a cottage in the tenure of John Hocklin in Ullenhall with lands called Hall end ground and Botleys in Ullenhall in the tenure of William Smith; a messuage called Hobditch tenement in Ullenhall with lands called Hobditch grounds in the tenure of Henry Bellamy; a messuage in the tenure of William Allsopp in Ullenhall with lands belonging to the same; also lands in Ullenhall called Cookes land in the tenure of Thomas Bentford; lands called Lynseys in Henley in Arden and Beaudesert in the tenure of Margery Glover widow and also a messuage called Bosses in Nuthurst and Hampton in Arden with lands called the Bosses and Nooky croft in Nuthurst in the tenure of Thomas Clarkeson; to hold for 21 years to the use of the said Sir Simon, if he live so long, then according to the terms of his will, in trust to perform the same.
