Description

Assignment from William Wright of Nether Whitacre yeoman with the consent of Thomas Wright of the same, his elder brother, and Thomas Barker of Coleshill baker and Patience his wife, sister of the said William and Thomas Wright, to John Welchman of Tanworth clerk in trust for Thomas Archer of Umberslade esquire of a mortgage, dated 12 May 1742, from the said William Wright to the said Thomas Wright of a messuage called Braggs tenement with lands belonging to the same in Nuthurst in Hampton in Arden and in Tanworth, one of which was in the tenure of ____ Lewis and a messuage with land belonging to the same in Holoughton in Kingsbury in the tenure of the said Thomas Wright and of Alexander Knight his tenant; for 500 years to secure £200, being the sum still due to the said William Wright under the will, dated 11 August 1732, of Thomas Wright, father of the said Thomas, William and Patience Wright, of which will the said Thomas Wright the younger was executor.
