Description

Lease for 30 years from Richard Archer of Toneworth' county Warrwike esquire to John Persons of the same taylour of a tenement with a close and a meadow belonging to the same called Wall land lying in Toneworth' in Munkespathstrete, lying in length between Wellfilde and Wall more meadow, and in breadth between the land of John Hall' and the highway, the said property being then in the tenure of the said John Parsons; to hold from the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary next [2 February] for 30 years for the annual rent of 10s. [2 terms], the lessor having the right of distraint after 1 month and the right of re-entry after 2 months for non-payment or arrears; the said John to be free from payment of chief rent, except taxes and tallages, and to have haybote, howsebote and fyrebote from the said lands; the said Richard to be bound in the penal sum of £8 to perform covenants.
