Bargain and sale with warranty from Humphrey Everard of Whyttington, Staffordshire, gentleman and Anne his wife to Thomas Wesvotte of Tanworthe yeoman for £121. 13. 4d. of a pasture called Allesburye land in Tanworthe, lying in length and breadth between the lane leading from Kingesnorton to Warr', the lands leading from Kingesnorton to Stratford, the lane leading from Tanworthe church to Hockley Heathe, a croft and a meadow of Richard Paynes called Warners and a croft called Longe croft on all sides; one close and a meadow called Pole field meadow in Tanworthe, the close lying in length and breadth between the said lane from Tanworthe to Hockley Heathe, land of Henry Hunte in the occupation of Henry Gryffyn, the lane leading from Kingsnorton to Stratford and the land of the said Thomas Wescotte on all sides, the said meadow in Tanworthe lying in length and breadth between the lane leading from Kingesnorton to Stratforde, a pitt called Flaxe pytte and a lane leading from Allesburye land and the said meadow on all sides; to hold for ever from all charges excepting a lease of 20 January 5 Elizabeth [1562/1563] to Thomas Oteley late of Whittington, father of the said Anne, to Robert Palmer of Solihull yeoman of one moiety of the said premises for 21 years rendering annually 20s., reserved to the said Humphrey and Anne, and excepting another lease of the other moiety of the said premises from the said Humphrey to Charles Raynsforde esquire for the remainder of the term stated in the said lease, rendering annually 20s., reserved to the said Humphrey and Anne; the said Humphrey and Anne also reserved during the said term pasturage and keep of one yearling colt from 1 to 4 years and also pasture for one mare with one sucking colt on the said premises, to be void if the said Charles Raynsford within 6 years ditched and mounded the boundary of the said premises; the said Thomas Wescotte to pay the chief rent due from the said premises and the annual rent of [5]s. due to Katherine Eaton, wife of Roger Eaton, lately wife of the said Richard Clarkson deceased in lieu of dower.
