Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 25th March 1818 between Thomas Chambers of Henley-in-Arden tanner and John Smith of Beaudesert maltster of the 1st part, William Marshall of Little Alne yeoman of the 2nd part, Thomas Barns of Snitterfield farmer of the 3rd part, Thomas Applebee of Snitterfield wheelwright of the 4th part and George Osborne of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire attorney of the 5th part whereby the property described in DR 38/510 was conveyed by the persons of the 1st part as trustees for William Marshall in consideration of 10/- and by William Marshall in consideration of £60 (the debts charged thereon having been paid out of other property sold to George Osborne who was made party to these Indentures in order that he might covenant for the production of certain documents of Title) to Thomas Barns aforesaid. Signed Thomas Chambers, Joseph Smith, William Marshall and George Osborne. Stamp seal. Witnessed by Samuel Ward, W. Morgan, R. H. Guardner and William Guardner. Lease dated 24th March 1818 between Thomas Chambers, Joseph Smith and William Marshall to Thomas Barns of the same property for one year. Signed Thomas Chambers, Joseph Smith and William Marshall.
