Description

Indenture of Assignment between Sir Richard Carr Glynn of Birchin Lane in the City of London baronet of the 1st part, Samuel Allen of Bordesley in the Parish of Aston juxta Birmingham gentleman of the 2nd part, Robert Philips of the Park, Prestwich, Lancashire esquire of the 3rd part and John Burton Philips of Heath House, Checkley, Staffordshire esquire of the 4th part. Reciting DR38/1020, DR38/1049, DR38/1050, DR38/1054 - DR38/1086 also DR38/1057 to 1060, and reciting Indenture of Mortgage dated 28th April 1792 between Charles Henry Hunt of Stratford-upon-Avon esquire of one part and John Wright then of Hatfield Priory, Essex esquire since deceased of the other part whereby Charles Henry Hunt demised to John Wright inter alia the Manor of Wolverton and all other his hereditaments therein subject to a proviso for redemption upon payment of £4000 and reciting the Will of John Wright (see DR38/1076) and another Indenture dated 29th August 1800 endorsed upon the back of the last mentioned Indenture of Mortgage and reciting DR38/1083 - DR38/1091 also DR38/1102, it was witnessed that in consideration of 10/- paid by John Burton Philips to Sir Richard Carr Glynn, he the said Sir Richard Carr Glynn (at the request of Samuel Allen by the direction of Robert Philips) assigned to John Burton Philips five several terms of 500 years, 500 years, 500 years, 1000 years - 1000 years upon trust to attend the inheritance of Robert Philips. Signed Richard Carr Glynn and Samuel Allen. Seal a demi-dragon. Witnessed by Robert Baxter, Edward Cheyney and J. D. Badham.
