Lease from Sir Robert Throckmorton, bart., Coughton Court, Warwickshire, with Dame Mary his wife, daughter (sister and heir of Sir John Yate, bart., deceased) to Edward Blakeway, Chaddesley Corbett, Worcs., yeoman of Watch Oak Meadow, Picklewell Park, Long Park, Potters Park, with a small piece of meadow or mowing ground lying between Watch Oak and Picklewell Park (all formerly in the tenure of Robert Harris), with rights and appurtenances, except access for the taking of game birds and beasts, which are reserved to Sir Robert and Dame Mary, as are the cutting down of all trees upon the land. To hold for fifteen years at £28 pa payable in equal instalments at Lammas and the Purification of the Virgin. Also paying a further £5pa if any of the said closers are put to tillage. Covenant to keep the land in good heart and maintain hedges and ditches, taking sufficient rough timber from the land Signed and sealed: Robert Throckmorton; Mary Throckmorton.
