Conveyance from Thomas More of Wotton Wawen gent. and Thomas Maunder now or late of Ullenhall, yeoman to Andrew Archer, son and heir of Thomas Archer esq., Francis Smyth, son and heir of Francis Smyth of Aston, Salop., esq., William Knight gent., George Fulwood, eldest son and heir of George Fulwood gent., Thomas Martin, son and heir of William Martin of Evesham, Worcs., gent., ..... Court, son and heir of Christopher Court the elder of Ullenhall gent., John Court, son and heir of William Court of Ullenhall yeoman, William Lea of Tanworth, yeoman, and John Freeman of Beoly, Worcs., yeoman, of the property described below, reciting a feoffment of 26 April 21 Charles II [ ] from John Knight of Barrells, deceased, and the said Thomas Smyth of Ullenhall, deceased, to the said Andrew Archer, William Knight and Thomas Eedes as co-feoffees with Joseph Dobing the younger, gentleman, John Court, gentleman, William Walsingham and John Lea, all four now deceased, whereby the said Thomas More and Thomas Maunder stand seised of a messuage in Ullenhall with a close adjoining the same in the tenure of Henry Deene long since deceased and now in the tenure of Humphrey Deene, son of the said Henry, and of a toft whereon a tenement lately stood and a close adjoining the same in Ullenhall formerly in the tenure of Elizabeth Lea, widow, and now in the tenure of William Wise, the elder, and of a messuage in Ullenhall and a parcel of ground adjoining the same called the Chappell yard with a close belonging to the same adjoining the land of Inheritance of the late Thomas Lea, all which messuage, parcel of ground and close were formerly in the several tenures of Simon Price and Anne Corbett and are now in the tenure of John Wyres, and of a messuage adjoining the last mentioned messuage with a garden belonging to the same formerly in the tenure of Margaret Cowper and now in the tenure of Margaret Burton widow, and a cottage in Ullenhall with a close adjoining and belonging to the same, formerly in the tenure of Richard Taylor and now in the several tenure of John Arden and Richard Taunton and a cottage in Ullenhall, formerly in the occupation of Henry Blunt and Richard Cowper with a close and two little gardens belonging to the same now in the several tenures of the said William Wise the elder and Edmund Cowper in trust that the said Thomas More and Robert Maunder shall with the rents and profits of the said property shall yearly repair the chapel of Ullenhall and shall succour the inhabitants of Ullenhall by discharging levies for wars and musters and other common charges and repairing the bridges and highways, and reciting that if six of the feoffees should be dead then the most substantial part of the inhabitants of the said town shall elect with the consent of the remaining feoffees 9 inhabitants for the time being to be feoffees; to hold to the uses described.
