Description

Gift from John Ive and William Hichccokes of Henley in Ardena to John atte Lee of Henley of lands and tenements, woods, meadows, pastures and feedings which the said grantors held by the gift and feoffment of John Onley of Couentr' merchant, Nicholas Duddeley of the same and their associates as described in the charter made by the same; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Henley Sunday on the feast of St. Martin the Bishop 10 Henry IV. Witnesses: Thomas Archer, John Fulwode, Thomas Sudenhal', Geoffrey Ive, Simon Felton' and others. 1. Circular seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 in., a lion passant. 2. Circular seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 in., the letter R between two sprigs of foliage.
