Description

Gift with warranty from Thomas Smyth of Ulnall' in Wotton' Wawen', husbandman, to Richard Barrett, William Walton' and Peter Nott of a tenement with a croft adjacent to the same lying in Hall' Ende in Wotton' Wawen', which the said Thomas held by the gift and feoffment of Humfrey Conesby gentleman [see DR37/1/2846-2847] and also two other crofts in Ulnall', one called Hobdyche and the other called Pynkes, which the said Thomas Smyth held by the gift and feoffment of Thomas Stokes gentleman [see DR37/1/2840-2843] to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service to the use of the said Thomas Smyth and Margery his wife for their lives and after the deaths of the said Thomas and Margery to the use of Thomas Smyth, son of the said Thomas Smyth, and Isabel his wife and their legitimate heirs for ever.
