Description

Lease with warranty from John Archer of Tonneworthe esquire to William Hundredao of Henley in Ardern' of two fields lying in the lordship of Tonneworthe in a pasture called Botteley, one of which fields is in the tenure of Thomas Faukes of Henley and the other late in the tenure of Harry Smythe; to hold from the feast of the Purification of Our Blessed Lady [2 February] last for 10 years, rendering annually 17s. [2 terms], reserving to the said John Archer a way between the ground of the said John Archer and the ground of William Catesby; the said William Hundredao shall enclose the said two fields during the said term; the said John Archer having the right of distraint if the said rent be unpaid or in arrears six weeks beyond any of the said terms and the right of re-entry into the said property if the said rent remain unpaid or in arrears one quarter beyond any of the said terms.
