Description

Settlement previous to the marriage of Francis Tyrringham of Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, esquire and Mary Grimshaw, second daughter and co-heir of Richard Grimshaw late of Bakers Lane in Knowle in Hampton in Arden gentleman deceased, being a conveyance by lease and release from the said Mary to Francis Ligo of Walton in Aylesbury, Bucks., esquire and Thomas Burgh of Coventry esquire of the property described in DR37/1/2041, with closes in Yardly, Worcs., called Broomy Croft, Lobb Croft, Burton's Croft, Smith's Croft and Black Croft, 32 selions of arable land in Yardly in the common field called Heynefield alias Stoke Stile Field alias Over Heyne Field, 16 of which were enclosed out of the same, the other 16 being dispersed, 4 selions in the common field of Yardly called Nether Heyne Field, 4 pieces of meadow in Broad Meadow, 3 selions in a common field called Bromefurlong in Yardly, in the tenure of Frances Marston widow, a close called Broome Field with a parcel of land called the Pingle adjoining the same with a meadow called Radmore Meadow adjoining Broome Field, two little meadows adjoining Radmore Meadow, all which lie near Shirly Street in Solihull, in the tenure of Robert Fowler; to hold to the use of the said Mary Grimshaw until the said marriage take place; then to the use of the said Francis Tyrringham and his heirs for ever.
