Assignment from Edward Strong of Greenwich, knight mason to Thomas Strong of New Dannes, Hertford, gentleman, Robert New of the same gentleman, Joseph Cranmer of the Six Clerks Office, Chancery Lane, London, gentleman and George Devall, citizen and plumber of London of a mortgage by way of lease and release, dated 13 and 14 May 1720, from Andrew Archer of Umberslade esquire to the said Edward Strong of a messuage called Lodge Farm with 221 acres of land in the tenure of Job Reason, his wife and son, for the annual rent of £125, a messuage and farm called Pinly Farm with 86 acres of land in the tenure of Mr Walford for the annual rent of £62, a messuage called Yarningale Farm with 59 acres of land in the tenure of John Atwood, for the annual rent of £40 and a messuage called Rynhills with 44 acres of land in the tenure of Mr Allason, vicar of Claverdon, for the annual rent of £29, all which property lies in Claverdon and Pinly; to secure £3,000.
