Demise from Sir John de Ralegh of Farnebergh' knight and Lady Joan his wife to William le Bole of Farnebergh' and Joan his wife of 3 butts of herbage lying in the field of Farnebergh' between the tenement of William Bole on the one hand and the land formerly of William le Roer on the other, which Ralph de Warmynton' and Gounilda his wife formerly held; to hold for the lives of the said lessees at a peppercorn rent. Dated at Farnebergh' Monday after the feast of St. Valentine, A.D. 1326. Witnesses: Sir Robert de Bereford' knight, Walter le Honorable, William Rodbourne, Thomas Benyet, John Toue, William Toue, Thomas Warde, Hugh Colyns and others. 1. Circular seal of natural wax on tag, 3/4 in., a shield. 2. Oval seal of natural wax on tag, 3/4 x 1/2 in., robed figure of a woman holding a bird.
