Assignment of Land: Ilmington

Description

Assignment dated 22nd October 1656 of 'Two Close Meadow' and 'Tower Close' by Richard Woodward of Dassett Parva and Ambrose Holbech of Mollington to Samuel, son of John Clarson of Horley, County of Oxford, clerk, reciting among others, the last Will of John Clarson (dated 22nd August 1651) granting to his son, Samuel the closes above named which the co-feoffees now assign to him. Signed sealed. Seals 1) armorial a pale between two eagles displayed crest a talbot 2) broken. Witnesses: James Nicholson, Joane Holbech and George Austen.
