Description

Gift with warranty from John de Hikernsse of Wannesmere to Henry the miller of Mortone Bagot for 20s. of one acre of land in Morton', of which half-an-acre lay in the field towards Grenehull', next to the land formerly belonging to Henry Bagod on the one hand and the land of Ralph de Assarto on the other, the other half-acre lying towards le Ouertoun next to the land formerly belonging to Margery Trussel on the one hand and the land of the said Ralph on the other; to hold for ever, rendering annually 6d. to maintain a lamp in the church of Morton' before the cross in lieu of all secular services.
