Nuthurst

Description

Agreement between William le Pech of Nuthurst and Richard de Folewod of Tanworth for the lease, by William to Richard for 12 years, of a certain piece of land or curtilage called Le Stonicroft with hedges and ditches surrounding, which extends in length from the King's highway from Nuthurst to Livericheshul [Liveridgehill] as far as the footpath leading from the messuage of the said William to the spring called Ruggelwelle. And in breadth between the messuage of the said William on one side and the land of William de la Forde on the other. To hold for the said term commencing at Michaelmas 21 Edward [1293]. Assurance of free access to property for heirs of William if he dies within term. Witnesses: Henry de Nuthurst, William Bissop, William Bosse, William de la Ford, Walter le Pech.
