Description

Lease for 8 years from John [de Olnefeld] perpetual vicar of Hampton in Arden to Master [Sir] Thomas Ketel of Kings Norton, chaplain, of the chapel of Nuthurst with all glebe, tithes and appurtenances Except mortuaries of parishioners dying, burial of married and widowed parishioners with funeral oblations. Also right to keep there 3 or 4 pigs annually at harvest time and for one month after Michaelmas. Conditions: Sir Thomas with clerk personally to serve every day in chapel, honestly and decently so that no blame attaches to the Vicar of the mother church; to maintain house, chapel, vestments and other ornaments in as good repair as when received them, or better; no trees to be cut down.
