Description

Grant by John Fulwood of Tanworth to Thomas Warde of Nuthurst of all his lands, tenements with messuages, gardens, meadows, pasture and appurtenances in Nuthurst which formerly belonged to Christian Warde and which John has by gift and feoffment of the said Thomas. To hold for life on payment of a red rose annually at the Feast of St. John in lieu of all claims and rendering service to the King and chief lord. Warranty clause. Witnesses: Geoffrey Warde, William Person , Richard Assheby, Thomas Shephard, Laurence Blythe. Dated at Nuthurst, Monday after St. James the Apostle, 7 Henry VI.
