Preston Bagot

Description

Quitclaim with warranty from John Robyns of Preston' Bagot, son and heir of Robert Souter of the same, to Henry Mulward' of Preston' and Joan his wife of a croft and two acres of arable land in the vill and fields of Preston', the said croft being called Bucheuyescroft lying between the land of John Cray on the one hand and the common field on the other and extending in length from the King's highway leading to Lappeworth' to the common field, and, of the said two acres, one acre lying on Stanthull' between the land of the Rector of the church of Preston' on the one hand and the land formerly belonging to John atte Wolde on the other and the other acre lying in the Stonyfeld' between the land of the rector of Preston' on the one hand and the land of John Warner on the other and extending to the Dolemedewe; to hold for ever. Dated at Preston' Thursday on the feast of St. Gregory, 17 Henry VI. Witnesses: William Hancockes, John Blont, William Welleford, John Reue, William Yonge, of Preston and others.
