Gift with warranty from Thomas Balde of Wasperton' and Joanna his wife to Henry Mulward' of Preston' Bagot and Joan his wife of a messuage with 5 acres of land and an adjacent croft called Buthenyecroft in Preston' Bagot which messuage lies next to the King's Highway leading from Preston' to Lappeworth', the said croft called Buthenyecroft lying between the land of John Cray on the one hand and the common field on the other and extending in length from the Highway leading to Lappeworth' as far as the common field, which messuage land and croft the said Thomas and Joanna held by the gift and feoffment of Richard Bryd' of Clardon'; to hold from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Preston', Monday after the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary, 17 Henry VI.
