Description

Copy of the will of John Hart of Tewkesbury, Chairmaker whereby after directing payment of his debts the testator devised to his wife Mary Hart for her life all those messuages or tenements together with the gardens outbuildings and appurtenances thereto in Stratford-upon-Avon and Tewkesbury with the remainder to his two sons William Shakespeare Hart and John Hart and to his daughter Sarah wife of William Whitehead of Tewkesbury, Stocking framework knitter to be equally divided amongst them as tenants in common and the testator bequeathed all the residue of his personal property after the death of his said wife to his said two sons and daughter in equal shares and testator appointed his said wife Mary his sole Executrix Witnesses John Sealy, Edward Mason and C. Freeth.
