Description
Abstract of the Title to the Birthplace and the Swan and Maidenhead Inn commencing with a mortgage dated the 31st Aug. 1727 by Shakespeare Hart and Ann his wife to Samuel Smith and ending with a Release dated the 4th July 1806 by Mary Hart and others to Thomas Court Note both the above are partly in the handwriting of Mr R.S. Wheler and were probably prepared for the purpose of the sale to the Trustees of Shakespeare's Birthplace in 1848
