Description

Conveyance by Henry Willis of Stratford upon Avon nayler Anne his wife, Anne Willis (mother of said Henry) and Henry Osborne of Bamsteed Staffs to Thomas Nash of Stratford upon Avon of a messuage with appurtenances theretofore occupied as two messuages in Henley Street called the Bell then in the occupation of Henry Willis and situate between the tenement of Mr Nash (i.e. Hornby's House) on the east parte and the tenement of John Rutten on the west parte and the street on the south part----------- and the kings highway called the Gilpittes on the north parte, and all that plot of ground containing seaventeen foot square-----and the edifices and buildings thereupon lately erected and built----between the tenement of the sayd Mr Nash on the east and the tenement in the tenure of the sayd John Rutten on the west and all that little backside thereunto adjoning containing in length from the said plott of ground on the west side eight yards and on the east side eleaven yards and a halfe and in breath at the upper end and towards the sayd plot of ground lately builded seaventeen foots and at the nether end towards the Gilpitts two yards and a halfe, with all appurtenances in consideration of £108 paid by Thomas Nash to the granters. Signed Henry Willis and by the marks of Anne Willis and Anne Willis Seal of Henry Willis missing. Two other seals of red wax impressions indecipherable. Livery of sign madein presence of Thomas Warren, Thomas Tayler, John Brumly and Richard Edwards. Endorsed the deeds of Widow Romlys alias Wm. Cates house in Henley Street (in a later hand)
