Description

Indenture of Release between Allen Wastell of Saltley in the Parish of Aston in Cottage. Warwick yoeman of the one part and Thomas Willies of Hounsworth Staffs yoeman of the other part. Reciting that Thomas Willies was seised of a messuage with appurtenances theretofore occupied as two tenements, situate in Henley Street called the Bell, lying between the tenement of Thomas Hornebie, the tenement of William Shakespeare the street aforesaid and the Kings highway called the Gilpittes and all partes and renting that the said (William) (Allen) Wastell hathe or do the pretend tytle or interest upon and to seaventen foote square, being somme part of the tenement parrell of the premises which lyeth next adjoyninge unto the before mentioned tenement late of William Shakespeare. It was thereby witnessed that Allen Wastell in consideration of £9 to him paid by Thomas Willies released and quit claimed the said premises of his claim to a parcel of land seaventen foote square to the said Thomas Willies and his heirs for ever.
