Conveyance by Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 11th May 1796 by Thomas Hart theretofore of Stratford-upon-Avon but then of Woolwich Kent Butcher (youngest son of Thomas Hart theretofore of Stratford-upon-Avon Turner decd. See TR46/1/ 24,28) to John Hart of Tewkesbury Turner (oldest son of the said Thomas Hart the Father decd.) a messuage, pigstye, part or use of the yard shop at the bottom of the yard and premises in Henley Street theretofore in the occupation of the said Thomas Hart the son and then of Thomas Hornby Butcher (except the stable devised by the will of Thomas Hart the Father to John Hart) subject to the mortgage of £90 created by No31 by Thomas Hart to Benjamin Smith and in consideration of £25 (making the purchase price of £115) paid by John Hart to Thomas Hart his brother . Signed John Hart and Thos. Hart. Seals of red wax a griffin's head erased. Witness Robt. Wheler and John Bridges. Lease by Thomas Hart to John Hart of same premises for one year. Signed Thos. Hart. Sealed and witnessed as before.
