Henley Street, [no. 6]: 1. Abstract of title to a newly erected (1826) freehold messuage, lately used as a warehouse, with the warehouses, storehouses, out offices, yards, garden and appurtenances in the occupation of Thomas Jackson (1826), 1862. The abstract refers to the deed of 1821 between Jackson and Warrilow, which relates to this property. 2. Memorandum by Richard Swaine of Stratford, watchmaker, of the deposit of the title deeds of his messuage and warehouse in Henley St as security for a £100 loan and agreement to execute a mortgage if so required by George Sproston of Stratford, gent., 5th July 1873. The schedule of deeds includes those of 1826 and the abstract of title of 1862. Cancelled. Attached is promissory note of even dating to pay Sproston £100 within six months, which has also been cancelled. 3-4. Copy memorandum of agreement between Richard Swaine and Samuel Righton of Stapenal Farm, Blockley, Worcs., to let no. 6 from year to year, 15th August 1873. Enclosed: memo signed by F. Birch, that he has paid the balance for the property, 11th December 1874. 5. Abstract of title of Richard Swaine to no 6 (1826-1874), 1874. 6. Articles of agreement of sale by private contract between Richard Swaine, now of Kenilworth St, Leamington Priors, furniture dealer, and Francis Birch of Henley St, china dealer, for £350, of a freehold messuage, side passage, yard, and appurtenances, now used as dwelling house, provision shop and refreshment rooms, 24th November 1874. 7. Copy receipt for £105 paid by RS to George Sproston, handed to F. Birch, 24th November 1874. 8-9. Telegram on wet press copy paper, respecting the sale Swaine to Birch, Dec. 1874. Note of Birch's purchase on 11th December 1874. 10. Notice from Samuel Righton of Stapenhall Farm, Moreton in Marsh, to Mr Birch to quit the tenancy of no. 6, now in the occupation of John Wyatt, 19th March 1875. 11-13. Copy memorandum of agreement between Francis Birch of Stratford and John Wyatt of Stratford to let no. 6, -- March 1876. Memo of agreement to let no. 6 from FB to Henry Hunt and Thomas Matthews of Stratford, 18th May 1882, and ditto from the same to David Drinkwater of High St, Worcester, 6th March 1883, the condition in each case being that no earthenware, china or glass may be sold on the premises.
