Description

Records relating to music composed, arranged and/or selected by Guy Woolfenden for theatre and television productions of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), as well as productions staged at the Comédie-Française, Paris, and the Burgtheater, Vienna. This series also contains music by other composers commissioned by Woolfenden during his time as the RSC's Head of Music, as well as material inherited or acquired by Woolfenden in this role.

The records include original manuscript music, lists of music and sound cues, annotated play texts, lyrics, correspondence and notes.
