Description

Gift from Thomas son of the late James de Clinton' lord of Baddisleye to John de Bannebury living in Warewik' of one piece of meadow lying in Baddisleye between le Bancroft on the one hand and the brook running from the pond of the said Thomas on the other, and extending from the land of Thomas de Baddele as far as le Stokkynge. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Warranty clause. Sealing clause. Witnesses: Walter de Wynterton', William Gegghe, William le Moreie, John son of Nicholas de Baddisleye, William de Nonneleye and others. Given at Baddisleye Monday next after the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross 19 Edward II [16 September 1325]. Tag for seal.
