Description

Quitclaim from Thomas atte Stile of Erescote [Eastcote] to Robert Dunford of Kenilleworth' of all lands, tenements, houses, gardens, woods, moors, meadows, pastures, feedings, arable lands, hedges, ditches and their appurtenances which the said Thomas held by the gift and feoffment of William Gegge of Warr' in Baddesleye which were more fully outlined in the charter granted by the said William to the said Thomas. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Sealing clause. Witnesses: William Blundel de Kenill', Hugh de Honile, Bartholomew de Beusale, John atte Wodeyate, John Pesham and others. Given at Baddesleye Thursday after the feast of St. Dionvsus the Martyr 3 Edward III [12 October 1329]. Circular seal of red wax on tag, fragment.
