Description

Gift from Thomas Cokkus of Couentre passenger to John Neuby of Baddesley Clynton' of lands, tenements, rents, reversions, services, meadows, pastures, feedings, with hedges, ponds, moors, ditches and appurtenances which the said Thomas held by gift of Robert Halughton of Couentre barbour and which formerly belonged to Roger Mayhowe and John Mayhowe in Baddesley Clynton'. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Witnesses: John Saundre; Walter Peche; Walter Goodman; Richard clerk; Henry Burdette de Baddesley Clynton and others. Given at Baddesley Clynton' 9 June 6 Henry V [1418].
