Description

Receipt from Henry Ferrers to Edward Ferrers his son for £10 for the timber within the manor of Kingswood, the said Edward to have the right to cut down or leave the said timber and to have the option on any further sale according to the advice of John Burgoyne of Rowington. 1 April 1620. Signed: Henry Ferrers Circular seal of red wax applied through paper tongue. 1/2 in. A horse shoe. Witnesses: The marks of George Miller, William Lodon.
