Description

Confirmation from John Walsale of Couentr' whittewyer to Nicholas Duddeleye of Couentre merchant of his interest in all lands, tenements, rents, reversions, services, meadows, pastures, feedings, with woods, hedges, ditches and appurtenances which the said John received by demise of John Fouke of Baddesleye Clynton' and Joan his wife as described in an indenture made between the said parties. To hold the same rendering due and customary service to the said John Walsale Warranty clause. Witnesses: Oliver Burdet; William Eberale; Thomas Bereford; Richard Lepere and others. Given at Baddesleye Clynton' Friday next after the feast of St. James the Apostle 16 Richard II [26 July 1392]. Circular seal of red wax on tag. 3/4 in. The letter A within a beaded border. [52/14]
