Gift from Edward Metteley and Margaret his wife to John Onlemor, Richard Palmare and Richard Spraty of all lands and tenements with meadows, pastures, feedings, woods, hedges ditches and appurtenances in Baddesleye Clynton' and Rowynton' which the said Edward and Margaret lately held by the gift and feoffment of Simon Bythewode of Rowynton'. To hold the same from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Sealing clause. Witnesses: Robert Burdet; John Brome; John Godman; Thomas Harpere; Walter Slye and many others. Given at Baddesleye Clynton' Monday next after the feast of the Circumcision of our Lord 7 Henry IV [4 January 1405/6]. Seals: 1. Tag and seal cut away. 2. Circular seal of red wax on tag, fragment.
