Quitclaim from John Mayhow of Couentre son and heir of John Mayhow of Baddesley to William Auger of Couentre of lands, tenements, rents reversions, services, meadows, pastures, feedings with woods, hedges, ponds, ditches and appurtenances in Baddesley which the said John Mayhow of Couentre inherited upon the death of Roger Mayhow his grandfather, and Juliana his grandmother, daughter and heir of John Godeman. To hold the same for ever. Sealing clause. Witnesses: Robert Burdet de Baddesley; John Saundur; Walter Peche; Walter Godeman; Richard Clerk of the same and others. Given at Baddesley 26 May 12 Henry IV [1411]. Circular seal of brown wax on tag. 1 in. Within an eight pointed star a shield charged with three lines forming a triangle at fess point.
