Bond from William de Ferrarus [5th Lord Ferrers of Groby 1372-1445] lord of Groby [co. Leicester] to Roger Holand of Newton Lynforth [Newton Linford, co. Leicester] and Thomas Holand of the same place in the penal sum of £22 to secure peaceful possession of woods and subwoods in le shote hedges [?in Newton Linford] according to the agreement made between the said parties by which the said Roger and Thomas were to hold the same for 5 years from the date of this agreement and bond, with provision that if the said William died during the said term, the same peaceful possession would be secured by his heirs.
