Gift from Thomas Estopp' Master of the Gild of the Holy Trinity of Warrewic', John Chetewin of Alspath', William Hopkyns of Warrewyk and John Rochford' vicar of the church of Rowynton' to Dom John Sperman Dean of the Collegiate church of Warrewyk', John Throkmerton', Nicholas Rody of Warrewyk, Master John Hull' rector of the parish church of Knebbeworth' [Knebworth] co. Hertford, Dom John Bakster of Warrewyk chaplain and William Godlay of a field called Gilberdeslond' in Baddesley Clynton' with meadows, pastures, hedges, woods and appurtenances, and two crofts in Rowynton' called Oxstede and le Lyen which lands were enfeoffed to the said grantors and to John Byngham of Leycestr' now dead by Alice Medewey. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Sealing clause.
