Description

Memorandum written by Henry Ferrers entitled `A note of such landes as are appoynted by Henry Ferrers for the Joynture of Mrs. Jane Whyte'. The list contained possession of a mansion house in Halden [High Halden] and lands in Halden and Beteresden [Bethersden] in Kent, leased by the said Henry from Anthony Mayne for almost 120 years yet to come for the annual rent of £40, lands and tenements in Baddesley Clinton, Solyhull, Knoll and Balsall let to divers tenants for the annual rent of £24, a pasture and meadow called Spert close and Spert meadow in Cuddington, co. Bucks let for the annual rent of £18, and a perpetual annuity of £20 from Michael Findern's lands in Findern, Repton, Stenton [Stanton] and Derby, co. Derby, the total rent from all this property being £102, reserving the manor of Baddesley Clinton and other lands in Warwick, Claredon, Elmedon, Solyhull, Hatton, Bewsall and Honiley to the annual value of £206 6s. 8d.
