Description

Lease from Nicholas Ferrers of Prynsthroppe [Princethorpe] gent. to John Grymshawe of Packwood tayler of a tenement in Baddysley Clynton in the occupation of Richard Brokesbanck with all gardens, orchards, crofts, closes, meadows and pastures in Baddysley. To hold the same after the death of Joan Brokesbanck wife of the said Richard for the term of 21 years for the annual rent of 36s. 8d. to be paid at Lady Day and Michaelmas in equal portions, the first payment to begin on the first of either of these feasts after the death of the said Joan. The said John to maintain the said property in good repair with the right to fell timber for this purpose during the said term, and the said Nicholas to have the right of distraint if the said rent was not paid.
